12-Year-Old Shooter Tried Murdering Woman In Capital Region, Police Say A 12-year-old boy is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly shooting a woman in the region. Albany Police were called at around 4 p.m. Monday, May 13, for a shooting near South Pearl and Schuyler streets. They found a 43-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her arm. The victim was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Capital Region Woman, Age 21, Goes Missing: 'We Are Concerned For Her Safety,' Police Say A 21-year-old New York woman has been missing for three days and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Police announced on Saturday, Nov. 25 that it is currently attempting to locate Azalea Gardner who was last seen on Wednesday, Nov. 22 in Albany at around 4 p.m. in the area of Morton Avenue and South Pearl Street. Gardner 5-foot-2, 125 pounds with blue eyes and currently has pink hair.
