Smile, You're On Body Camera: TJ Maxx To Equip Employees To Fight Shoplifting To fight the recent rise in shoplifting and retail theft, shoppers could see store security employees wearing body-worn cameras to help catch thieves red-handed.  TJX, the parent company of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Serria, HomeSense, and HomeGoods, said will begin equipping some employees with body-worn cameras similar to those worn by police, the Boston Globe reported. Woman Nabbed Shoplifting $1K In Goods From Stores In Region, Police Say A 36-year-old Hudson Valley woman was nabbed for allegedly shoplifting more than $1,000 in goods from various stores after a police pursuit. Westchester County resident Analda Robertson, of Mount Vernon, was charged on Sunday, Jan. 21, after New York State Police were notified by a manager of an Orange County Price Chopper store in Wallkill that she left the store with a cart full of items without paying, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Robertson was spotted placing the items in a 2008 Volvo XC90. A trooper located the car on Crystal Run Road in Wallkill and attempted a traffic stop, Nevel said.…

Duo Steals $400 Worth Of Items From New Baltimore Starbucks Police are asking for help in identifying two women caught on video stealing hundreds of dollars' worth of merchandise from a Starbucks in the region. The Greene County incident happened Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Starbucks located at the New Baltimore Service Area on the Thruway.
