19-Year-Old Leads Troopers On Chase Before Crashing In Capital Region, Police Say A teen driver is facing multiple charges after allegedly leading troopers on a chase before crashing his car in the region. The Washington County incident happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday, May 12, in the town of Easton. New York State Police said troopers attempted to stop a vehicle on State Route 40 for traffic violation when the driver failed to stop, leading to a pursuit.
