Fatal Crash: 34-Year-Old From Region ID'd As Victim One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the region. It happened around 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 in Orange County on Park Avenue in the city of Port Jervis. A passenger vehicle traveling in a westerly direction crossed the center double-yellow line, according to Port Jervis Chief of Police William J. Worden. The car then struck a large flatbed tow truck operating in an easterly direction. Man From Region Found Dead After Disappearing In Delaware River A Hudson Valley man was found dead after disappearing from his campsite at the edge of the Delaware River. The incident took place in Sullivan County on Saturday, May 13, at the Ascalona Campground in Barryville.  Deputies responded to the campground on a report of a missing person, said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty.
