Man, 71, Killed In Mountain Bike Accident At State Park In Region A 71-year-old man was killed in a mountain bike accident at a state park in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Tallman Mountain State Park in Orangetown. According to Trooper Steven Nevel with the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that Alido M. Police Search For Hit-Run Driver After Man Struck By Sedan In Region Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a man was struck on a Hudson Valley roadway overnight. The incident happened in Rockland County around 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 in Pearl River.
