Gunman Nabbed In Killing Of Area 23-Year-Old Who Testified Against Abusive BF, Police Say Police have arrested a suspect in the killing of a 23-year-old New York woman who was shot to death on Christmas morning after cooperating in her boyfriend’s attempted murder trial. Michael Varlack, age 36, of Albany was arraigned on murder and related charges in Albany County Court on Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the death of Sky Lemmons-Dixon. The young woman was found inside her State Street residence on Monday morning, Dec. 25, with a single gunshot wound to her head, according to Albany Police. Wrong Driveway Killing: Trial Set For Capital Region Homeowner Accused Of Shooting 20-Year-Old A trial date has been set for the man accused of opening fire on a car that mistakenly turned into his driveway in upstate New York, killing a 20-year-old woman. Jury selection in Kevin Monohan’s murder trial will begin on Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, with the trial expected to start two days later, Washington County District Attorney Anthony Jordan told Daily Voice.
