Trio Nabbed: Fentanyl, Cocaine Seized During Drug Raid In Region, Police Say Three Hudson Valley residents have been charged with the criminal sale of a controlled substance following an investigation into drug sales in the region due to overdoses. The arrest took place in Dutchess County on Friday, May 26 at home in the city of Poughkeepsie by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force. Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Task Force said agents executed a search warrant with the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit at 339 Mansion St. in the city of Poughkeepsie and arrested these individuals at the scene.  Fentanyl, cocaine, and cash was …

1 Dead, 1 Injured In Area Shooting, Police Say Police are asking the public for help after a man was shot and killed and another injured in the area. The homicide took place in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 1:45 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9 at 283 Mansion St. The responding officer located the shooting victim laying in the street next to his vehicle, said Det. Sgt. George Camacho, of the City of Poughkeepsie Police. The victim was identified as a 28-year-old City of Poughkeepsie resident, Camacho said.
