Man Killed In Crash With Tractor-Trailer In Region Police are investigating after a 74-year-old Connecticut man was killed during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at the intersection of Route 22 and Route 55 in the town of Dover, a hamlet of Wingdale, around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, June 13. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, a 2010 Chevrolet pickup was on Route 55 preparing to enter traffic on northbound Route 22 when it pulled into the path of a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer. Fatal Crash: Woman From Region Pulling Out Of Driveway Hit By Truck A Hudson Valley woman backing out of her driveway was hit and killed by a truck. The deadly crash took place in Dutchess County around 9:40 a.m. on Route 55 in the Dover hamlet of Wingdale.  A preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2011 Mazda 3 sedan driven by Valerie G. Parsons, age 80, of Wingdale, was entering Route 55 from a private driveway when it was struck by a 2015 Kenworth truck traveling eastbound on Route 55, said Capt. 2 Juveniles Injured In Head-On Dirt Bike Crash In Dutchess County Two juveniles were injured in a head-on dirt bike crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 in the town of Dover on Weil Road. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, a preliminary investigation revealed that the two bikes, both operated by juvenile males, were traveling in opposite directions on Weil Road when they crashed head-on with each other.  As a result, both suffered serious injuries and were airlifted from the scene to Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, from which …
