'Full Of Dreams': Fundraiser To Send Man From Region Stabbed In Head Home to Jamaica Friends and family members of a Hudson Valley man who died after he was stabbed in the head during an argument with his roommate said he was a "beacon of joy and light in the lives of those around him." Dontay Brown, age 23, of Poughkeepsie, died on Sunday, June 4 during the fight. His roommate, Andrew Alex Fraser, age 32, has been charged with his murder. Originally from Jamacia, friends, and family members are working to bring Dontay home to his family through a GoFundMe effort organized by Holford Brown. Ian, the ninth named storm of the 2022 Atlantic hurricane season, is expected to strengthen to hurricane status and move north through Florida in the middle of this week.
