In Columbia County, a man contacted the Hudson City Police Department in October 2023 saying that a substantial sum of money had been stolen from his company’s bank account. A closer look revealed that over $85,000 had been pilfered from his account between November 2022 and October 2023. Seen Him? Alert Issued For Hudson Man Missing Over 2 Months Police are asking for help in locating a man from the region who has been missing for over two months. Columbia County resident Robert Coons was last seen Thursday morning, July 6, in the city of Hudson near Columbia and North 3rd streets, according to Hudson City Police. The location is right outside the Columbia County Human Services building. At the time of his disappearance, Coons was wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt. Family Fight Ends With Man Stabbed In Hudson, Police Say A man is recovering after he was stabbed during a family altercation in the region. In Columbia County, police in the city of Hudson were called at around 5:45 p.m. Sunday, June 2, with reports of a large fight near North 5th street and Long Alley. When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest with a knife, according to Hudson Police. The victim was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center, where is listed in stable condition.
