Kyle Hutchinson, age 23, of Schenectady, was found guilty of second-degree murder and related charges in Rensselaer County Court on Wednesday, Aug. 30, in the killing of 19-year-old Nathanial Miller. Capital District School Lifts Shelter-In-Place Order Following Off-Campus Police Activity Update: A shelter-in-place order that was issued at a Capital District school Wednesday, Sept. 7, has been lifted. In Rensselaer County, the Hoosick Falls Central School, located on Route 22 in Hoosick Falls, announced that an earlier "safety situation" directly across the street from campus was over.
