11-Year-Old Capital Region Girl Missing For 4 Days Authorities are asking for help in locating a young girl from the region who has been missing for four days. Washington County resident Chloe Colvin, age 11, was last seen in Fort Edward on Friday, July 14, according to sheriff’s officials. Colvin is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall and 115 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and a blue hooded sweatshirt. Troopers in Saratoga County were conducting a sobriety checkpoint detail in Moreau on Hudson Falls Road at about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, when they stopped a vehicle driven by Washington County resident Vincent Mancuso, of Fort Edward, New York State Police said. Trapped Elderly Woman Rescued After Tree Falls On Home During Severe Storm In Capital District An elderly woman from the Capital District has a whole host of public agencies to thank for rescuing her after a downed tree trapped her inside her home during a storm. Washington County resident Penelope Perry, age 75, was at her Fort Edward home on North River Road at around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, when severe winds sent a large tree crashing through her roof. The fallen tree left Perry pinned down on the home’s second floor, covered in roof debris, according to the Washington County Department of Public Safety.
