Rollaway Risk Prompts Recall Of Over 230K Ford Explorers Ford is recalling 238,000 of one of its best-selling SUVs over concerns that a defect could increase the chance of more crashes, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced.   The recall is for 2020-2022 Ford Explorers. Woman From Region Killed In Wrong-Way Driver Crash Identified A Hudson Valley woman killed when an SUV crossed the roadway into oncoming traffic has been identified by police. Dutchess County resident Li Hongling, age 50, of Poughkeepsie, was killed Sunday, Aug. 6, on Route 9W in Ulster County in the town of Highland. The collision occurred around 4:40 a.m. when a 21-year-old Poughkeepsie man was driving a 2008 Ford Explorer southbound on Route 9W when he crossed into the northbound lane striking a 2016 Chevy Cruze which was traveling northbound, said Lloyd Police Chief James Janso.
