4-Alarm Fire In Region Displaces 33, Injures 3 A 4-alarm fire that started at a Hudson Valley home and spread, displaced 33 people, including three infants, and injured three. The fire occurred in Orange County around 9:30 p.m., Sunday, March 31 on Lutheran Street in the city of Newburgh. Nearly A Dozen Displaced, 2 Pets Killed In House Fire In Area Nearly a dozen residents were displaced and two pets were killed during a fire at a Hudson Valley home. The fire took place in Dutchess County the city of Poughkeepsie around 1:20 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 22 at 372 Mansion St. First arriving fire units found heavy fire in the rear of the building on the first and second floors, said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Joseph Franco. Information from bystanders on the scene reported that all of the residents were of the building, officials said.
