Person Stabbed In Region, Suspect On Run Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help after a person was found stabbed. The incident occurred in Orange County around 9:35 a.m., Wednesday, June 19, in the area of 124 Grand St., in the city of Newburgh.  According to Mike Neppl, Chief of Staff for the city, officers responded and located a victim, a 44-year-old City of Newburgh resident. 24-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Capital Region Shooting; Search For Gunman Underway A young man is fighting for his life following a late-night shooting in the region. The incident happened at around 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in Albany’s West Hill neighborhood, near First and Ontario streets. Staff at Albany Medical Center Hospital contacted Albany Police after the 24-year-old victim showed up to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his chest. The man remains hospitalized in critical condition, police said. No suspects had been identified as of Wednesday, May 22. 8-Year-Old Found Dead In NY Backyard Pool, Police Say An 8-year-old was found dead partially submerged in a backyard pool and a man was discovered alongside the pool in critical condition in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Orange County in the town of Wallkill around 8 p.m., Sunday, July 3.
