1-Year-Old Dies After Allegedly Being Left In Hot Car In Region A 1-year-old girl died after allegedly being left in a hot car for several hours. The incident took place in Rockland County on Tuesday, May 9 around 4:30 p.m., in Spring Valley. According to Det. Philip Fantasia of the Spring Valley Police, officers responded to a home on Ridge Avenue on a report of a deceased child. Missing 3-Year-Old Found Dead In Capital Region A Rensselaer County family is grieving the loss of their 3-year-old child after he was found dead in a swimming pool. The boy was reported missing Sunday, April 17, from a house on Oakhurst Street in Pleasantdale, the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. After an extensive search that included more than 100 volunteers, the boy was eventually found unresponsive in a pool on the property where he lived.
