Search On For Cubs After Bear Killed On Taconic Parkway Despite social media buzz and some help from a couple of drone operators, there’s still no sign of a family of black bear cubs days after their mama was struck and killed on a highway in the region. The Columbia County incident happened Friday evening, April 19, on the Taconic State Parkway near Exit 99 in the hamlet of Spencertown. Therapist Busted Practicing Without License In Chatham, Police Say A therapist in the region is facing charges for allegedly practicing without a license. Columbia County resident William Culley, age 57, of Chatham, was arrested Saturday, March 18, according to State Police. After being tipped off, investigators determined that Culley was practicing as a psychotherapist without a license, police said.
