16-Year-Old Nabbed In Shooting Of Woman From Region, Police Say A 16-year-old has been charged with criminal use of a weapon in connection with the shooting of a woman from the region. The teen was arrested in Sullivan County in the village of Liberty on Wednesday, Sept. 6. According to Lt. Mark Johnstone of the Monticello Police, the juvenile was wanted for the Saturday, July 15, shooting of a 27-year-old Monticello woman that occurred at the Sleepy Hollow apartment complex at Terry Lane in the village of Monticello. Drunk 16-Year-Old Driver With 9 Passengers Busted Going Over 100 MPH In New Lebanon, Police Say A 16-year-old is facing drunk driving charges after allegedly speeding over 100 miles per hour on a highway in the region with nine other teens in the car. The incident happened Sunday, July 23, in Columbia County, on Route 20 in the town of New Lebanon, according to New York State Police. A trooper stopped the teen’s Honda Civic after reportedly observing the car going over 100 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone. The trooper determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. They also found nine other teen passengers inside the car, two of whom were riding in the trunk.…

16-Year-Old Stabs Teen's Neck In Capital Region, Police Say A 16-year-old is facing charges after allegedly stabbing another teen in the region, authorities said. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called shortly before 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, with reports of a stabbing in the town of Malta, on Luther Road, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies found a 17-year-old boy who had been stabbed in the neck. His attacker had fled the scene by the time investigators arrived.
