Hakeem Gentles, age 26, of Spring Valley was intoxicated when his car struck another in a Montvale driveway over the weekend, according to a police report. Englewood Officer Hangs On To Car Door As Gunman Speeds Off ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- A passenger in a car stopped by Englewood police jumped into the driver's seat, reached for a gun in his pocket and sped off with a police officer hanging onto the door, authorities said. Officer Maciej Mlynaryk was able to turn the ignition off, slowing the car, which struck a curb, they said.But the driver "continued to reach for his gun, fight with the officers and attempt to restart the car" before they took him into custody, Detective Capt.
