$1M Mega Millions Ticket Sold In NY As Jackpot Hits $850M
The jackpot for next week's Mega Millions drawing has climbed to $850 million after there were no grand prize winners in the drawing held Friday night, Jan. 15. Eight $1 million second prizes were sold -- including one in New York, on Long Island, at Hick's Piccolo Gourmet Deli on Levittown Parkway in Hicksville. The other second-prize winners were in New Jersey (in Wallington and Sparta), as well as California, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin Friday night's winning numbers were 3-11-12-38-43, with 15 as the Mega Ball.

Services Set For Missing Woman, 26, Found In Hackensack River
Services for Wallington's Sylvia Lubak have been set. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Warner-Wozniak Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Paterson followed by a private cremation. The 26-year-old's body was found Sunday in the Hackensack River and identified by Bogota Police on Monday, authorities told Daily Voice. Lubak was born in Poland and moved to the U.S. in 2000 when she was eight years old. She graduated from Becton HS, East Rutherford, Class of 2010, and then attended NYU. Prosecutor: Wallington Parents Charged In Distressed Infant's Death
Two Wallington parents were charged with child endangerment and drug possession after their infant was found unresponsive last week, authorities said. : Body Pulled From River ID'd As Missing Woman, 26
Police identified the woman whose body was pulled from the Hackensack River over the weekend as a missing 26-year-old who had been living in Bogota. Bogota Police Detective Victor Negron said his department identified the body as Sylvia Lubak on Monday. Negron could not release more information due to an ongoing investigation. A missing persons report was filed in December 2017, which says she was last seen by her boyfriend, police said. "She was wearing blue or black snow pants and a black jacket with fur on the hood.
