ID Released For Truck Driver Killed In Hudson Valley Lounge Crash This story has been updated. Police have identified a truck driver who was killed after crashing into a popular lounge and music venue in the Hudson Valley. Dutchess County resident Craig Allen Dickson, age 33, of Hopewell Junction, was killed around 10:40 a.m., Monday, June 20 when his 2020 Peterbilt tractor-trailer crashed into Junior's Lounge in the town of Poughkeepsie. When patrol officers arrived on the scene of the crash, they found the truck, which was pulling a fully-loaded dump truck, inside the lounge at 504 Salt Point Turnpike, said Chief Robert Benson, of the Hyde Park Police.…

Man Killed In Head-On Town Of Lloyd Crash A man from the region was killed during a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Ulster County in the town of Lloyd on Tuesday, May 17. Alfredo Gomes, age 59, of Lloyd, was killed while driving a 1997 Toyota Corolla, westbound on Route 299 when he crossed the double yellow line and ran head-on into a 2021 Volvo driven by Ashley Guerrero, age 35, of the city of Poughkeepsie, said Trooper Steven Nevel, of the New York State Police.
