This story has been updated. A 22-year-old man from the region is behind bars on a slew of charges including the unauthorized use of a vehicle he allegedly stole. Sullivan County resident March Santiago, of Roscoe, was recently arrested while the town of Fallsburg Police was conducting seatbelt enforcement and stopped him in a 2013 Toyota Camry on Route 42 in South Fallsburg, said Fallsburg Police Chief Simmie Williams. Woman From Region Nabbed For Grand Larceny, State Police Say
A woman from the region has been charged with grand larceny for allegedly using a person's credit cards and car without her permission. Sullivan County resident Miranda J. Stickle, age 27, of Livingston Manor, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 12, for two counts of grand larceny, said Trooper Steven Nevel. An investigation into the incident began in September when state police were contacted about possible misuse of credit cards and a missing vehicle, Nevel said. Man With Rockland Ties Posing As Collector Accused Of Stealing Thousands
A Hudson Valley man is wanted for posing as a rent collector for his landlord, pocketing $3,500 in the process. Sean P. Tully, 56, is wanted in Dutchess County by the town of Amenia Court on charges of third-degree larceny and unauthorized use of a vehicle, said state police. Police said Tully has tied to Rockland County and possibly the state of Arizona. He is bald, about 6-feet tall, weighing approximately 230 pounds, and has brown eyes. A 42-year-old was arrested after he allegedly drove a front- end loader in the parking lot of an area grocery store while drunk. Paul M. A man accused of stealing an ATV has been arrested in Stony Point and faces multiple charges, according to police. Stony Point Police say they received a report that a homeowner on Timp Brook Road had returned from vacation to find that an ATV had been stolen from the property on Wednesday, July 10. A pair of 21-year-old men took police on a brief foot chase after allegedly attempting to steal a pizza delivery man’s car in broad daylight in Orange County.
