The Tuesday evening commute was a crawl for many in the area after a day filled with showers, heavy rain and flooding. Stretches of four of the most traveled parkways in the area were closed late Tuesday afternoon due to flooding and a crash on northbound I-684 blocked two lanes for about an hour. The I-684 crash was northbound at Route 35 (Exit 6) in Katonah with stop-and-go delays to Route 172 (Exit 4) through the late afternoon. The Taconic State Parkway is closed southbound in Mount Pleasant between Commerce Street and Stevens Avenue due to flooding. The …
