IDs Released For Suspect, Man Shot, Killed Outside Nyack Bar The identities of both a longtime resident Rockland County resident who was shot dead following an argument outside a local bar and the suspect have now been released. According to the Orangetown Police, Gregory Dubuisson, 35, of Nyack, was shot and killed around 7:08 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22, said Chief Donald Butterworth. Crash Sends One To Hospital, Closes Route 9W In Rockland For Over An Hour One person was injured during a two-vehicle crash on Route 9W when one vehicle sideswiped another and a person became trapped in one of the vehicles. The crash, which took place around 11:50 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, in Rockland County northbound on 9W in Piermont, closed the roadway for over an hour. Orangetown Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9W and Main Street in Nyack on Sunday, April 7 around 10:30 p.m. Further investigation revealed that one of the drivers involved in the crash fled the scene, police say.
