Woman Nabbed After Posing As Law Firm Employee In Region, Police Say A 41-year-old woman has been charged with grand larceny after allegedly posing as a law firm employee and collecting fees from potential clients. Tara Muller, of Milford, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Sullivan County on Friday, Jan. 19 in Liberty by New York State Police. Woman Sentenced For Stealing Thousands From Rockland Department Of Social Services A Rockland County woman who was found guilty by a jury of stealing thousands in welfare funds has been sentenced to probation. Jermika Depas, 32, of Spring Valley, was sentenced Tuesday to five years probation and $4,662.50 in restitution after being convicted by a Rockland County jury of welfare fraud and other charges, said the Rockland County District Attorney's Office.
