Officer Saves Unresponsive Baby At Hudson Valley Home: 'Every Second Counted' Thanks to quick and skillful action, an officer was able to save the life of a baby who had become unresponsive at a Northern Westchester residence. The incident began at around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, when a Mount Kisco family reported that their 1-year-old child was non-responsive and not breathing, according to Westchester County Police. Soon after this, police arrived at the residence, the exact location of which was not released, and Officer Stephen Samuel took the baby from her relatives to begin CPR. Man Slashed During Fight Over iPhone In Hudson Valley, Police Say A Northern Westchester resident was arrested after allegedly slashing a man in the leg and stealing his cell phone. The incident took place in Mount Kisco around 5 p.m., Sunday, July 18 at Leonard Park. The victim called the Westchester County Police to report that he had been in an argument at Leonard Park with a man he knows over damage to that man’s cell phone, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police.
