A missing Hudson Valley hiker was found with serious injuries following a police search that included numerous police officers and K9 units. The incident occurred in Orange County around 11:40 a.m., Thursday, March 28 in New Windsor in the area of San Giacomo Park at 402 Union Ave. According to Chief Daniel Valeri of the New Windsor Police, officers responded to the park for a report of a missing hiker. A police officer was seriously injured at the site of a crash when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Hudson Valley. The Orange County crash took place in New Windsor on Litte Britain Road around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27. New Windsor Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Little Britain Road in the area of Executive Drive, said New Windsor Police Chief Daniel Valeri. Driver In Two-Car Crash With Serious Injury Charged With DWI, Vehicular Assault
The 51-year-old driver in a two-car crash that left one person trapped and seriously injured has been charged with driving under the influence. Christopher Smith of Campbell Hall was arrested on Saturday following the crash at the intersection of Little Britain Road and Forrester Road, said New Windsor Police Lt. Michael Farbent. New Windsor Woman Charged With DWI Following Rollover Crash
A New Windsor woman was arrested for DWI following a rollover crash in which she was injured, according to New Windsor police. Police found Yajaira Rosa, 26, around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday trying to climb out of the passenger's side window when they arrived on the scene in the area of Little Britain Road and Station Road, said Lt. Michael Farbent. Rosa, who was the only person in the vehicle, had lost control of her vehicle, causing it to rollover landing on the driver's side, Farbent said.
