Case Against New City Dad Involved In Twins' Hot Car Deaths Put On Hold The prosecution announced that there is no grand jury action in the case of the Hudson Valley dad who allegedly left his 1-year-old twins in a hot car causing their deaths until August 27, following pleas by his attorney to dismiss the case. Dad Charged In Hot-Car Deaths Was Supposed To Take Twins To Daycare, Report Says The Hudson Valley father facing manslaughter charges in the hot-car deaths of year-old twins had earlier dropped off an older child but reportedly forgot to take infants to daycare en route to work in New York City.
