Hudson Valley Man Killed In Crash Between Truck, Car A Hudson Valley man was killed in a two-vehicle crash. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 8 a.m., Thursday, June 13, on Route 52 at the intersection of Leetown Road in the town of East Fishkill. Man, 55, Found Shot Dead In Hudson Valley Parking Lot Police are searching for a suspect after a 55-year-old man was found shot dead in a parking lot in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:20 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the area of 472 Main St., in Poughkeepsie. According to Det. Lt. Matt Clark of the City of Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers found the man at the top of the parking area. He was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, where he later died, Clark said. Police have not identified the victim. Andrew Cuomo warned. There have now been 7,917 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New York overnight, bringing the statewide total to 83,712. There were also 391 new deaths, as the total climbs to 1,941 since the outbreak began. Of the 83,712 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 12,226 people are currently hospitalized, including 3,022 patients in the ICU. One Extricated After Car Overturns At Corner Of Routes 9A, 119 This story has been updated. Traffic was backed up following a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Route 9A and Route 119 in Elmsford. The incident took place around 9:15 a.m. Thursday when one vehicle hit another, sending it flying on its roof. One driver was able to get out of the car, but the woman in the flipped vehicle was cut out of her seatbelt by a Good Samaritan and pulled away. She was transported to the hospital for treatment, said the woman's husband.  The cause of the crash is under investigation.
