Firefighter Injured During Blaze At Residence In Hudson Valley A firefighter was injured during a blaze at a Northern Westchester home that began in the residence's garage.  The incident began on Thursday, May 16 just after 6 p.m., when Croton-on-Hudson firefighters raced to a home on Memory Lane for a reported blaze.  Within minutes, crews were at the scene and confirmed that a fire had begun in the residence's garage. Four-Alarm Fire Rages At Strip Mall In Westchester A four-alarm fire has responders from across the region working to knock down flames at a strip mall in Westchester. The fire started around 6:45 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12, in Yonkers on the 600-block of Yonkers Avenue in a commercial building, and has caused multiple collapses inside, according to a post on Facebook by the Yonkers Uniformed Fire Officers Association.
