In his civil lawsuit filed in Washington County Supreme Court on Wednesday, March 20, Blake Walsh says he has been “rendered emotionally distressed” and “suffered psychological harm” after Kevin Monahan fatally shot 20-year-old Kaylin Gillis. Alex Jones Ordered To Pay Sandy Hook Shooting Victim's Family A Total Of $49M
Far-right radio host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been ordered by a Texas jury to pay nearly $50 million to the family of a young boy killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. In a unanimous decision Friday, Aug. 5, the jury said Jones must pay $45.2 million in punitive damages in a lawsuit filed by the parents of 6-year-old victim Jesse Lewis. A civil lawsuit filed by the parents of Gabby Petito against the parents of Brian Laundrie for emotional distress will go forward after a judge denied a request for dismal. Sarasota County Circuit Judge Hunter W. Carroll issued the ruling Thursday, June 30. Intruder Enters High School In Westchester
A Westchester school district was put on high alert when an intruder “exhibiting signs of emotional distress” entered an area high school and refused to comply with security, officials said. White Plains Schools Superintendent Joseph Ricca informed the community that at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, the person entered the high school in an emotional state and refused to follow the directives of security officers when questioned.
