Andrew Cuomo said that 57.9 percent of hospital workers in the Hudson Valley have received the COVID-19 vaccine, while statewide, a total of 60.8 percent of medical professionals have been vaccinated. Pickup Truck Driver Cited For Following Too Closely In Route 17 Crash With School Bus A 57-year-old pickup truck driver has been charged in the crash on Route 17 with a school bus that injured five students. The crash took place around 7:45 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, in Sullivan County eastbound in Mamakating between the bus and a pickup truck, said New York State Trooper Steve Nevel. The school bus was traveling from Fallsburg to Boces in Orange County with five children and two bus monitors, Nevel said.  Five children on the bus suffered minor injuries and were treated and released from Catskill Regional Medical Center. Bergen Man Hospitalized In Hudson Valley Two-Car Crash That Kills Woman, 73 A motorist from Bergen County failed to stop at a stop sign before crossing the double yellow lines while turning in a crash that resulted in the death of a 73-year-old woman in the Hudson Valley, police said.  On Friday, July 20, at about 9:20 a.m., state police from the Liberty barracks responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 17 westbound exit 100A in the town of Liberty in Sullivan County.
