The crash took place in Ulster County on Tuesday, Dec. 27, on Pine Grove Avenue in Kingston. According to the Kingston Police, a preliminary investigation found that woman, who was riding a bike, was hit by a 60-year-old woman. The unnamed bicyclist was taken to Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley, Mary's Avenue campus where she died from her injuries, Kingston Police said. Rockland Bicyclist Injured In Fall A 71-year-old Rockland bicyclist was hospitalized after a nasty fall at the state border in Old Tappan, authorities said. The victim "hit an uneven patch of pavement in the roadway" near the corner of Old Tappan and Semino Road and fell off her bicycle" around 9 a.m. Tuesday, Police Lt. Robert W. Wacht said. Bicyclist Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In Rockland A man riding a bike in the Hudson Valley was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle, authorities announced. The crash took place around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 15, in Rockland County near the area of Viola Road and Underwood Road in the hamlet of Viola, said the Ramapo Police. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. Roadways that were closed following the crash have since reopened. This is a developing story.
