Clarkstown Schools Forum To Focus On Heroin, Prescription Pill Epidemic

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Central School District is set to offer a presentation later this spring focused on the horrors and pains of prescription pill- and heroin abuse.

Parents, staff and community members have scheduled the event, "The Perfect Storm: A Prescription Drug and Heroin Epidemic," for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7 at the Paramount Country Club, 60 Zukor Road, New City.

The event offers the Clarkstown Teachers's Association, the Clarkstown Parent Teacher Association and others the opportunity to hear several speakers discuss the state of the current opiate epidemic, including District Attorney Thomas Zugibe. 

Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP by emailing perfectstorm@ccsd.edu.
