Tappan Zee Bridge Adviser Brian Conybeare To Step Down

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. – Former News 12 anchor Brian Conybeare, who was hired to explain the Tappan Zee Bridge project to the public, is leaving his position as special adviser, lohud.com reports.

The 53-year-old Conybeare told Gov. Andrew Cuomo his last day would be Nov. 6, saying only that he wanted to explore other opportunities. According to the article he was hired three years ago.

The $4 billion Tappan Zee Bridge public works project is the largest in the nation.
