Marcus Stroud had been a volunteer wrestling coach for programs in Rockland and Westchester counties in New York and Bergen County in New Jersey.
Police said Stroud lured a teenage boy he knew through one of the programs into engaging in sex acts through the use of the Snapchat app and other social media outlets.
Stroud was charged in February with second-degree criminal sexual act, a felony; second-degree sex abuse, a misdemeanor; sexual misconduct, a misdemeanor; and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, police said.
Now, police said, Stroud has also been charged with “possessing sexual performance by a child less than 16,” a felony.
Police said the additional charge stems from something they found on one of Stroud’s computer devices.
Stroud was arraigned in Nyack Justice Court late last week, and his bail was set at $10,000, police said.
He was sent to Rockland County Jail and was due back in court on Thursday.
When Stroud was first arrested, police said they had concerns that there may be other victims. They were asking parents who have children in programs where Stroud volunteered to talk to their kids.
