A fight between two teenagers at the Rockland Pool on Saturday at Rockland Lake State Park, turned into a larger incident as more people became involved, said New York State Park Police on Wednesday.
State Park Police, along with officers from multiple agencies, responded and were quickly able to de-escalate the disturbance, said Randy Simons, NYS Parks public information officer.
Two people were arrested, including Christopher Bello, 20, of the Bronx, and Junior Taveras, 19, also of the Bronx, Simon said.
Bello was charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Taveras was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
Both were arraigned and released on $500 bail, Simon added.
"There were no injuries to report. An investigation surrounding the circumstances is underway," Simon said.
