CONGERS, N.Y. -- Clarkstown police are warning residents of another round of reported car break-ins overnight Sunday in the Congers area.

The Clarkstown Police Department is warning residents to remove valuables from their vehicles after seven vehicles in the Congers area were broken into overnight.

Police received complaints from at least seven residents of thefts from their vehicles that included everything from cash to sunglasses, police said.

Residents are asked to remove all valuables from their vehicles and to make sure they are locked. 

Residents who see suspicious activity in their neighborhood should call 845-639-5800.
