Rockland Legislaters Discuss Executive Budget Today

NANUET, N.Y. -- Rockland County officials will host a joint meeting to discuss the proposed New York State 2016-17 executive budget at the Nanuet Public Library on Tuesday.

State Sen. David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) will be one of the local officials discussion the proposed state budget at the Nanuet Library on Tuesday.

The hearing will allow residents and local groups to provide feedback on the proposal and discuss its potential impact on county residents. All Rockland residents, groups, and organizations are invited to provide testimony.

Sen. David Carlucci and Assemblymembers Kenneth Zebrowski, Ellen Jaffee and James Skoufis will be in attendance.

Those interested in attending are asked to RSVP to Carlucci's office at 845-623-3627.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m.

The Nanuet Public Library is located at 149 Church St.
