Rockland County Provides Update On Nor'easter Response, Look Ahead

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- As the Nor'easter continues to impact the area, county officials monitoring the storm said snow showers are expected to continue throughout Tuesday evening.

Although little to no additional accumulations are expected, temperatures will continue to plunge with a low of 18 degrees with wind chill values between 5 to 10 degrees with blustery winds with gusts to 33 mph.

Warmer temperatures are expected Wednesday with a high near 29 with wind chill values between 5 and 15 degrees. Winds will continue to be blustery at 13 to 20 mph.

Driving conditions are also expected to remain dangerous with slippery, snow covered roads. 

As of 5 p.m. Tuesday, the Tappan Zee Express remains closed for the day; while the New Jersey Transit is operating with delays, CSX is operating without delays.

All tractor-trailers remain banned from I-87.
