The goal for this year's campaign is $80,000. The red kettles are now positioned at 22 locations throughout Rockland County until Dec. 24. Money raised through the kettle program stays in the area to help support community and family services, local food banks, soup kitchens and, of course, various holiday programs.

Contact the local Salvation Army office at 845-352-9577 for donation or volunteer information.
