The black, 2-year-old domestic shorthair, came to the shelter as a stray.
She is shy, but warms up once she gets to know someone, the shelter said.
Dee Dee enjoys being petted and held.
She would probably do well in a home with other cats, but, the shelter said, with dogs ... not so much.
A household with children ages 10 and older would also be best for Dee Dee, the shelter said.
Anyone interested in adopting Dee Dee or other kitties and doggies can contact the shelter by emailing info@hitor.org, or by calling (845) 354-7900.
