"Knowing that the lower Hudson Valley has historically been shortchanged with state transportation funds, I applaud Governor Cuomo for realizing the necessity to keep the toll affordable on the new Tappan Zee Bridge."
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday he would freeze tolls on the 570-mile superhighway for the next four years by putting $700 million toward the Thruway Authority’s infrastructure costs.
