The File of Life is a card developed by the not-for-profit group File of Life Foundation. The Town launched the program several years ago.

It contains vital information and is kept on the outside of the resident's refrigerator in a bright red magnetic packet that is readily accessible.

The town also has a wallet size File of Life so residents can have them on hand when they are away from home.

The File of Life includes a red magnetic packet, a decal that is displayed on the window or front door to notify the police and emergency personnel that a File of Life is inside.

Visit or contact the Supervisor's Office to receive a File of Life card.
