Burgos' path to a business owner is an interesting one; after a career in corporate finance she opened Art Adventure, an art school and birthday party venue for children in 2013. Now she is set to open her second business, Tech Adventure, which provides classes for kids and teens in robotics, programming and animation from her classroom on Route 59 in Nanuet.

Tech Adventure makes technology education feel more like entertainment in its brand new 4,000 square foot STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) enrichment center for children and teens. Tech Adventure will provide students of all ages with a real academic edge through its innovative and exciting tutoring/after-school program.

Being a mother herself, Burgos uses parenting experience to design her business spaces and programs. She hopes to bring family and educational oriented businesses to the Rockland community

“Alysson Burgos and her team at Tech Adventure have made a commitment to Rockland County by opening this exciting, state-of-the-art learning facility here." said Al Samuels, President/CEO Rockland Business Association. Their investment is certain to bring future successes to the students who participate and to the staff who are employed there. We look forward to helping them grow their business and to become the cornerstone of the STEM technology enrichment in our area.”
