Police Release Details On Rollover Crash That Seriously Injured Northern Westchester Woman State Police have released new details on a crash in which a 70-year-old Northern Westchester woman was seriously injured and a dog killed. Paulette L. Milligan, was driving a Chevy Aveo eastbound around 9:15 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, when she attempted to pass a 2017 Jeep Cherokee on Route 6 in Somers near Windsor Road, said New York State Trooper AJ Hicks. Milligan, of Somers, struck the Jeep, then moved back to the right, struck the guide rail, overturned, and came to rest on the opposite side of the guide rail in an earth embankment, Hicks said. Serious Two-Car Crash Causes Heavy Delays On Route 6 Stretch This story has been updated. A serious two-car crash is tied up traffic during the morning commute near the border of Northern Westchester and Putnam. The crash, reported just before 8 a.m. Monday, June 17, occurred on westbound Route 6 at the intersection of Windsor Road, just west of Mahopac Avenue in Somers. One of the vehicles involved landed well off the road. Delays lasted through the end of the morning commute.

Three Injured In Route 6 Head-On Crash Involving Car, SUV, Box Truck Three people received non-life-threatening injuries in a head-on crash on Route 6 in Somers that shut down traffic for almost two hours. The crash, which included a car, an SUV, and a box truck, happened shortly before 7 a.m. Friday near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border. Three people were cared for and transported to Westchester Medical Center by the Somers Fire Department, the fire department said.
