Car Crashes Through Fence, Onto Metro-North Train Platform In Westchester An 82-year-old driver slammed through a guardrail, fencing, railing and almost hit a tree before partially landing on the Fleetwood Metro-North train station platform after losing control of his car. According to Mount Vernon Deputy Police Chief Roy Hastings, the incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. Friday as the Bronxville man was traveling westbound on West Grand Street toward the station and approached the traffic stop.  "He said he could not remember if he stopped or just went through," Hastings said.
