Lightning Strike, Mercedes Hit-And-Run, Top North Castle Police Blotter An Armonk homeowner received a scare when he returned home to find that lightning had struck his property. A Briggs Lane resident called the North Castle Police Department shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, when he noticed a hole in his backyard, which he believes to have been caused by a lightning strike in the area during this week’s thunderstorms.
