Traffic Alert: Turkey Trot Road Race Will Lead To Road Closures In Yorktown Yorktown Police are reminding residents of the annual Turkey Trot Road Race, and along with the fun run/walk, road closures. Sponsored by Sen. Terrence Murphy's Office, this year's event will begin on Front Street in front of the Pennysaver building at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 22. The runner's route includes: Front Street to Underhill Avenue, turn left to westbound Underhill Avenue. Underhill Avenue to Route 118, turning left to southbound Route 118.
