Man Lights Himself On Fire During Fight With Family In Westchester, Taken To Hospital A man was rushed to a hospital after lighting himself on fire after a family dispute in Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at around 8:30 p.m., when a man poured a flammable substance over his body and proceeded to then light himself on fire after a conflict with family members in the area of Purser Place in Yonkers, according to Yonkers Police Sgt. Robert Spink. The man was then taken to a nearby trauma center with severe burns. He was stabilized and admitted for treatment.  More information about the incident was not made available.

Person Rushed To Trauma Center After 3-Car Crash In Northern Westchester A person was rescued from their vehicle and hospitalized following a three-car crash at a Northern Westchester intersection.  The crash happened in Yorktown just after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, when three cars collided at the intersection of London Road and Quinlan Street, according to the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews soon discovered that one person was trapped in their vehicle. Suspect At Large After Westchester Shooting Police are searching for a suspect that shot and critically injured a 33-year-old man in Westchester County. The incident took place around 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 13 in Yonkers near 16 Fortfield Ave. According to the Yonkers Police, when officers arrived on the scene they found a 33-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest; the man was transported to a local area trauma center and is currently in critical condition.
